MORE ON OUR FEATURES!
Has been singing since she was a babe and has been teaching herself guitar, on and off again, since she was 17 years old. She started heavily writing music two years ago while she was in the Peace Corps, in Mali. Music has always helped her to get through rough times in her life. It wasn’t until she moved to San Francisco from Michigan, a year ago, that she started performing. Some of her greatest influences have been Corinne Bailey-Rae, Phil Collins, The Beatles, Genesis and Lauryn Hill. When she’s not performing, she works as a mental health counselor for Progress Foundation, where she facilitates music/art therapy groups. She started coming to the open mic a year ago and has just won our hearts, now we get to see her ROCK IT!!
Seven-Kelee Boult (Formerly known as, Lucky 7) is a well known Bay Area poet. She has represented several Bay Area slam teams over the past 10 years. Recently, she became the only woman in the Bay to win the honored title Grand Slam Champion of 3 different Bay teams (SF, Berkeley, and Oakland).
Sevan has been writing since childhood. Her most recent artistic venture involves the ukulele and poetry. She effortlessly blends music and poetry to engage the audience with her soft, raspy voice and mesmerizing stage presence.
